Jumbled Thots-Input requested!

I've had a bit of a blogging block! I usually have post ideas constantly rolling around in my head, but the last several days, I've been blank. It could be contributed to my sleep-deprived state, or maybe my life has been too busy--maybe both!

Last week, I was only home two days because of a day of doctor appointments and a short trip to San Antonio. Crazy!!!

I have a question for the more experienced moms who may stop here. How do you deal with your infant's constipation??? My poor Brandon has now swung to the other side of the pendulum! I've been feeding him table food/baby food more often, and he's just not doing well with it. I need ideas!

By the way, one of those doctor appointments last week was Brandon's heart check-up. Thank the Lord! He is still doing well. They did not even have to do an echocardiogram! Yay! He won't have to go back for another six months. I'm so thankful that the procedure is holding, and our baby won't have to go through that trauma again. The Lord is good!

Guess I'll sign off for now! See you the next time I get some inspiration. :-)

Okay I am anything but an experianced mom but, My mom used to use Karo Syrup in water to treat constipation...might be worth a try. I've never tried it myself. Kadance used to like the prune baby food so I would just give here that when needed.

I don't know if you use herbs at all, but Sis. Judy Systma got me started on using Slippery Elm bark for constipation and diarrhea. Just stir a little of it into some applesauce and feed with a spoon.

Also, make sure he's getting plenty of fluids to balance out the solids.
